Artist's Description
The shore line of the East River in Astoria Park, Queens, New York, is made up of more than a half a century's litter of millions of pieces of broken glass from discarded beer and soda bottles mixed with sand and rocks. Some of the pieces still have the logos and imprints from the original bottles and older pieces are worn smooth by the rivers tides and waves.
