Walking around the urban renewal of the waterfront of Greenpoint Brooklyn I was mesmerized by the bright colorful graffiti on the old brick buildings soon to be demolished for new glass and steel structures.

The photographic story of photographer Cate Franklyn began when she moved back to her old neighborhood of Astoria Queens, New York.
